My name is Shaibu Ibrahim. (Call me Shai, but I am not shy).
I am a Senior Electrical Engineer with over a decade of combined experience in power generation (both in thermal and renewables), transmission, and distribution.
In my free time, I love sharing memories with my family, playing soccer, watching comedy (my favorite), volunteering, blogging, collaborating (AI and ML book, chapter 8), and connecting with like-minded individuals like you.

Substations are a critical component of the power grid, transforming voltage levels and regulating power flow.
While in college, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, I completed an internship at a construction company. It was the construction of a high-voltage (HV) substation that interconnects a hydropower station.
